This is definitely NOT glitter eyeshadow, which is kinda what I was anticipating. It's more just like glitter in a cream base. If that makes sense. Using this doesn't actually give me the color of eyeshadow, but for me, it works great over top of eyeshadow.
When I am having a big night out, I will use this over top of my eyeliner or on the color I put on my eyelid for a more dramatic effect. The application is somewhat tedious, but this is the one time I found that the applicator that came with the palette comes in handy. Don't try to use a brush - that didn't work for me. I used the little cheap plastic applicator and used it to grab the glitter (I used a heavy hand) and then just place where I want on my eyes. I used the edge when I put it on over eye liner.You will have a small bit of fall out during application, but once it's on, it doesn't flake off hardly at all. My swatches stayed on my arm until I washed them off and I did this entire blog entry with them on.
There weren't any actual color names printed on the package...So, I will do my best to describe them to you. lol.
